Almost forgot to do a desktop screenshot update, so here goes - besides, its my birthday today

Let's start from left-to-right, shall we?

On the far left, we have Desktop Sidebar, available at [link] In my previous wallpaper ([link]), it was much wider. Removing all the panels but the quick-launch one, I shrunk it down to a very thin size. This was mainly because most of my desktops are at 1280x1024 or 1280x960, and the inch or more was ruining wallpapers - either they were under the sidebar, or they were scruntched to not cover it.

Onto the wallpaper itself. Kate Beckinsale is one of those celebrities that I'm allowed to cheat on my girlfriend with. This wallpaper is one of 2,025 wallpapers that cycle every 15 minutes. I do this using a problem called Wallpaper Cycler ([link]). I strongly recommend this program, it's really great.

The icons are in small view, using program called Autosmall ([link]) that forces icons into a smaller thing.

On the top right, we have two Konfabulator ([link]) widgets. I had considered using Konfabulator to replace many of the system-checking tools I had previously had on Desktop Sidebar, but I realized that I didn't need to know how much CPU or memory I was using.

On the bottom right a random quote appears. It's a feature of Wallpaper Cycler. I currently have 271 quotes on it, but add more regularly - usually from Google's random quote thang.
